Boulogne: Office-to-housing conversion

Magazine|

On Rue Dassault, the site is reaching the end of a key structural phase: the installation of the metal exoskeleton balconies across all facades.

This heavy yet controlled intervention creates outdoor extensions without compromising the existing structure, thus meeting the technical constraints associated with converting this commercial building.

The balconies form new outdoor living spaces, extending the apartments toward light, views, and the horizon, while deeply enhancing the quality of living.

These new architectural layers contribute to recomposing the facades. They transform the building’s initial appearance while revealing its potential.

The project illustrates a combined approach of architecture and engineering. A demanding transformation, designed in every detail to add value to the spaces.
